We are all “Stupid”…don’t you know…

GruberJonathan Gruber shows the true colors of unbelief. I presume that Jonathan Gruber views life from a materialist perspective. Given that premise, Gruber’s desire to aggressively promulgate his ownership of the Affordable Care Act highlights the core of the materialist worldview.
The essential virtue of materialism is me. All that matters is individual success, recognition, and power so one can control personal destiny. We now know that Jonathan Gruber was the key architect of Affordable Care Act. He just couldn’t resist bragging about his involvement and influence in leading the legislation’s enactment to anyone who would listen or videotape. His grandstanding satisfies the internal desire for recognition and affirmation of success. The thought that his comments may undermine the whole legitimacy of the law never seemed to cross his mind.
The evidence is in his repeated remarks that the “American People” are generally too stupid to understand the intricate working of the legislative process. He confidently boasts that lying was the only means at our disposal to insure the law would pass and the masses were too ignorant and uniformed to recognize or understand out motives.
The individualism of materialism denies the existence of a divine being that provides meaning to all of life. Anyone who believes different is ignorant and fantasy driven. Listen to Sigmund Freud, “when a man has once brought himself to accept uncritically all the absurdities that religious doctrines put before him and, even so, overlook the contradictions before them, we need not be greatly surprised at the weakness of his intellect.” Freud continues, “For the masses are lazy and unintelligent….men are not spontaneously fond of work and ….arguments are of no avail against their passions.”
Mr. Gruber is a product of the American education system and the shift in the American culture to materialism and the rejection of absolute truth. Lying, deception, the ends justify the means are the methods used to implement ideas. Anyone who disagrees or obstructs is just plain stupid.
God bless Mr. Gruber for showing his true colors. He just can’t help himself.
