So, in Minnesota student athletes that feel that their body was miss-assigned at birth can now choose to play for the body of their choice. This is what happens when truth is ignored or denied. Carry this out a few years. What will happen when the next Michael Jordan decides that he’s really not a Michael Jordan but a Michelle Jordan and feels like he should play for the Minnesota Lynx instead of the Minnesota Timberwolves? And we are all okay with that?                                                                                                                                    Here’s what the enlightened people of Minnesota are saying: The policy defines transgender as “a person whose gender identity is different from and does not match the gender assigned at birth.” Gender identity is described as “a person’s deeply-felt internal sense of being male or female,” and gender expression as “a person’s external characteristics and behaviors that are socially defined as either masculine or feminine.”                                                              New understanding of gender, gender identity, masculine or feminine? This is what you get when you remove truth from the public square…chaos. “                                                   Sex is assigned at birth. Ish the Hebrew word for male…isha the Hebrew word for female. Those are the only two realities; been that way since it all began. Somehow in the last 20 years we have evolved to a higher understanding of human design. Millions of years of evolution have just now dawned on us that we have had it all wrong. What a day! Is this true? Can a person’s feelings change their sex?
The Hebrew word for man (gender) is zakar. The Hebrew word for woman (gender) is negabah. Hebrew and Greek cultures went further to distinguish masculinity and femininity. The word ezer is translated “helper”, and the Greek word Kenego is translated “fit or suitable” to define femininity. The Greek word arsen identifies a masculine man as someone who “lifts or carries.”
A person’s gender is influenced from the day sex is assigned by the particular milieu and experiences encountered. The sex never changes. Feelings change, instantly and throughout the day for all of life. Denying the truth based on how I feel in the moment today, is a giant leap of faith to a realm of insanity and chaos.
This is not about gender assignment or gender identity. This is about denying truth. This is about wishing the truth away. This is about disobedience. The so called enlightened people of the world can go down this road all they desire, but in the end, truth will meet them unchanged.
It’s pretty simple really. Man moves toward woman to live in a lifetime relationship that mirrors the image of his creator as a strong relational being. Woman invites man as an open being and nurtures a relationship that mirrors the image of her creator as a tender, compassionate being. Together they mirror the creator that has always lived in relationship. It works when the two become one for life. That’s the truth of the design and it will never change.
It is evil’s desire to destroy the design. It will never happen, even in Minnesota.
